Edgar is the Owner/operator of E&J Auto a.k.a eastcoastparts.com
ALS does NOT stand for Alex Lopez seals... It stands for Advance Leading Systems....
Not sure if he designed them or makes them....It just seems to get referenced to him because he was one of the first to start using them and selling them...

My name is Edgar Perez owner of E&J Autoworks. This comment is derected to you flaco. I dont know who you are and i dont know where you get your information but i assure you that you are mistaken or you are getting some fictional information from some hater.

here are the facts:

I do manufacture them for alex lopez owner of ALS (Advance leading systems). Our normal run on this line is 100 set but the demand is getting so high do to there incredible performance that we decided to double the run to 200 set. Our process of manufacturing is not like the competition so it takes us longer and this is one of the reason that they work so well. Precision and quality is all way our goal. We have many distributors that carry our line like, Rocky la otra racing, Gary at rotaryart in the uk, takao from deepstage racing, david jarone, insane rotary, mayol racing, precision time and many others. The list of racers is alot longer. We are very happy with the results of our product and it show where it matters at the track. Santiago racing first pass with the new car mid seven broke his own record this weekend 7.34, most important one motor and went home super happy. There are many other racers out there and we do appriciate your loyalty to our product but we cant metion there names with out there knowledge. I can go on and on but the fact is that we are working very hard to keep up with the demand and we are working very hard to keep up and still maintain our line going, not just the seals for als but also the throttle bodies, billet rotors, flange, fuel pump kits and our new intakes and others. We are also working on new parts for 2012 that is going to change the performance of the incredible engine and continue the record setting platform that continues to grow. So, flaco your heard it from me and if you have any question you are more than welcome to call us or contact one of our distributors because they are the reason why we run out so fast. We are sorry that we are out of stock but this is not bad new, this tells us that we are doing a good job.

Thank you and we appologize to everyone if we have cause any inconviniece.

Edgar congrats on your record breaking products. I am pretty sure that I got to see a prototype of the new intake manifold that you are talking about, and all I have to say is GENIUS.

I order that many a month, Edgar is as stand up as they come. I read a couple reviews on the seals several years back and called him up to talk about the seals. I explained to him I was building around 25 engines or so a year and he sent me a set to try for free. He said if you like them and they work for you send me some money, if you aren't satisfied don't worry about it. I use them in every build now, stock ports to whatever the customer wants.

If any one doubts the seals just research sk8wrld's success on his FD he built in his garage by himself. He had never built an engine before and is out there trapping 110mph in the 1/8.

Great product and Edgar is a great guy to deal with.

I will have 5 sets coming in on Monday of next week. 4 are spoken for at this time. I can get a couple more sets if need be. Im just not building as much these days due to have a 4 month old son and job that requires me to travel non stop.

Let me know if you need some and I will get you sorted out.

Sk8wrld, correct me if Im wrong. Your block has been dynamically balanced and thats about it. No side clearancing, no extra dowels, no stud kit and over 11k miles of use. A whole lot of trips down the track and several occasions of over 10k rpms as well if I remember correctly?

David

Correct, balanced rotating assembly and basic clearancing is it. Over 11k miles, 35psi of boost, stack of time slips, lots time on the 2 step, lots of abuse! You should see how lean it went at Montgomery!
This is the third season on the same motor, so I am more than happy with my $1500 rebuild!

I talked with Edgar this week and will be flying some ALS stickers next event. Maybe this weekend.

semi local guy. Good guy, name is Luis. However with that said my motor IS NOT balanced anymore!

When they drilled to balance they drilled the clutch cover (Preasure Plate) rather than flywheel. My dumb self didnt even think much of it until my disk went out the first time and my P Plate was smoked. So I just put in another clutch set up and all is fine. I try to shift at 8500 now. Power drops off around that point anyway. I usually 2 step to 9200 but shift 8500 after that.

Tune was done by Mr. Ray Wilson. He did a great job! I tuned this same set up and made 504rwhp at 25-28psi were Ray came in and made 617rwhp at 25psi! Thats all the wastegate had in it so he stopped. I now run 30+psi .
