awesome stuff, ive found a new car to keep a look out for, there is so many threads lurking in build section that just fly under the radar from me haha .

Also to embed all you have to do is copy and paste the "share" title, not the "embed" title

also where is your build thread ?

im on here quite frequently but im not posting much

you can find it here https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo-rx-7s-23/my-bw-s475-project-lots-pics-804713/

there is a few changes in the setup, this is on a 1.32 turbine with a bullseye race cover for the s475, i had the old cover with me but as always we didn't have time to compare the two..

this is on pure ethanol also. not e85

i was at the track 2 weeks ago, got 1 run and the car leaned out badly for no reason, ran great just a few days before, then it started to rain so we went home.

was out yesterday and still has this issue, it runs great in vacuum but leans out 15-16AFR under boost. havn't had time to check but feels like my FPR wont compensate for boost..

here is a recent pic of the car

Did you have this same problem when you dynoed the car and made the 770hp or is this something that just started happening?

no problem on the dyno, i checked all my hoses and i found out that my boost reference hose was leaking... i feel lucky nothing happened to the motor..

15 to 16 AFR? That is seriously lean! I am happy that your engine didnt go at those AFRs! That could have been very bad!

Glad you found the problem early before the engine went, although I would be slightly worried that there may be some slight damage to it! Hopefully not!

This highlights the importance of a AFR gauge!

You may want to varify the accuracy of your a/f gauge on a dyno with another gauge. Your sensor may be bad. Thats very very lean not to have had your motor damaged, if you were under boost.

I second that.

Had the exact thing happen to me after dyno time. Was perfect on the dyno, went to the street to finish and it was way lean. **** Bosch senors!

i always have my left eye on the gauge so when things go in the wrong direction i take my foot off the throttle.. This happened at the strip and i had alot of other things to think about... only ran first gear before i noticed.. it started spitting in the exhaust.

motor still runs great so wont open it before it dies 100%
