yeah and dont forget about nibo he got there first well he did 7.14@178 and he is not using any titanium parts they are ilegar pica is using titanium rotors and shaft and a 91mm turbo if nibo was to have all of that on his car it would be faster

man where did u get this info? on sunday i spoke to someone that know's the Pica car very well and they described the setup but they never said anything about custom rotors..i was told it had a semi-PP, custom intake, huge snail, Iannetti's & some good old Oso-tech behind the LTX-12

Nibo is a 20b with tripplets, plus its full chassis so it shouldnt be compared with Pica's 2rotor 3/4 chassis..2 great cars but very different setups

man nibo is a completely diff car that was built for a whole diff catagory then pica. Nibo is full chassi 20b triple turbo.Nibo is a Pro RWD car. So comparing the both is just stupid

PUERTO RICO! Seeing that run from another angle really shows just how fast that car and how well it is set-up. Straight as an arrow.

How can you compare two cars from different classes and powerplants anyway? If that's the case then there are about three to four faster rotary powered cars than both Nibo and Pica anyway.
Where does it say in the rules they can't run those parts? Pica does not run NHRA Modified class presently. So what rules are these? The only rule I see is the 'envy' rule because the last time I check UPS can deliver the same parts to anyone!
In the motorsport buisness there will always be leaders and followers and right now Pica is in the lead so just deal with it.

this is where the haters start comming out the woodworks , titanium rotors and e shaft huh yeah ok ... just cause he spoke about these parts on an interview doesnot mean he is using them titanium rotors have been used in a buch of mazda racing aplications and a two piece e shaft has been around for some time know the parts mentioned above are still chillin in pr beeing perfected ...like criss has mentioned before everything they are running anyone can buy over the counter......... stop hating just cause that 2 rotor 3/4 chassis car is doing better than your boyfrinds car

Looks like the old Rx7 ain't going down without a fight!!!

The car did a 1.09 60ft lastnight.... I think that might be a record for any 13b/20b 3/4 chassis.. looks like we might see a 6.9 on Friday night at PanAms or maybe sooner

no pica is not running a 91mm turbo and it does not have any titanium parts on the engine,it does have a 2 piece shaft and the complete assembly is on rollers, nibo ran that time on a full chassis car with a Pport 20B running 3 turbos

What we need is a "PR racing updates" Sticky thread, where we post all the latest records etc from PR... Its alot easier for others to track the progess of cars & teams if everything is on one thread.. Tell the mods to get cracking and compile all the PR related threads from '08 into one sticky.. PR records are broken every week so it'll be easier to have everything in one location..
