transmission cooler

I think it is time add a transmission cooler on my car as I keep chewing synchros.
i have tried different transmission fluids but none of them last.
I have been using the Liberty's gears mainshaft for many years and i have been very happy with it but after a couple of hard sessions at the track my oil is cooked and the transmission is misbehaving.
On the street it seems perfectly fine.

I am looking for options either as a kit or individual components.
What transmission cooler solutions are out there?
where did you mount your cooler?
where did you mount your pump?
style and size of cooler?

Thanks

my first thought was the Mx5 Cup cars, but there is this too. i think the FD uses the same plugs, so it would just need different hoses https://flyinmiata.com/products/nd-f...ion-cooler-kit

make sure you purchase a pump with a metal head rather than plastic/polymer, which has been known to overheat and melt/fail. Honestly though, if you need a trans cooler then most likely one is needed for the diff too, possibly more so.

I’d be reluctant to try that ND Miata cooler as it was specifically designed for the ND without a fan etc.
