Oh gawd, here we go again...
You have a price on these things?
If it isn't closer to US$1,000, I'd be suspect of there is any Ti in there...
I'd get a materials analysis on these things if I had the money and time to burn.

There once was a machinest on this forum (maby he still is) who made his own TI seals and ran them. he said after a short period of time the engine started to just loose compression on all faces, felt like an old motor. he opened it up and said it looked like a 200k motor. seals's galled the housings to the point they were trash

Hmm, is the Nichol/Titanium they describe Nickel Titanium (Nitinol)- as in the memory metal?
In the next paragraph they are talking about it as a ceramic instead of a metal alloy. ???
Nickel Titanium can also be used to braze, bond or coat ceramics and so could be used as a matrix or mixture I guess?
Who would buy that based on that description- well, they don't even list a price :P
We want more info please!

RotorMaster (Joe) was the guy that bought Abel's old FD, they also have a few sick 20b's that are running consistant 7.1's so they definately know what they're doing... I'm tring to get Po, the owner of the full chassis FD to come on here and comment more on these seals...

The gauling properties of the Titanium is juts to high.Ate the hard chrome right of the rotorhousings in a matter off minutes (if i remember properly the engine didnt even run for a full 30min)
+1 for Ceramic.
- 11ty billion for titanium.
