Is Thicker Better? seals!!!!!
So, which seals are the best for the rotary in the US., is thicker better? 2mm or 3mm? hurley seals, why doesnt anyone design a way to put on like 5 mm seals, if someone could do 45mm, why not 5. wouldnt that insure more reliability for the seals not to crack?

Because a thicker seal doesn't necessarily mean that it is better.
A thicker seal (assuming your 5mm apex seal example) would require a stronger spring. And it would affect the shape of the rotor, rotor housings, and the general trochoid shape, etc.
The apex seals don't break normally because they are weak. The apex seals break because of problems w/ detonation.
If you made a stronger apex seal and you were still detonating,....the part that would break, would just be shifted to another part of the engine.
