Which Supra tt Fuel Pump Did I Get?

Hey Guys,

I ordered a 2nd hand supra tt fuel pump from a local junk yard here in the UK, thinking that it would be the infamous 195130 1020 Denso pump, which can deliver 260lph at 12v and 290lph at 14v. But unfortunately it looks to be smaller in size and has the Denso number 195130 2690, the power connectors look different also.

So does anyone know what this pump is and what the specs are of it? I have a friend who works for Toyota and this particular pump "2690" is listed as the tt pump for the late Jap and Uk spec Supras, so are the pumps different for the US spec'd cars? because the threads i have read say that the tt supras should come with the Denso 1020 pump.

Any help, links etc would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Wav,

Cant answer your question fully but I know there is definately more than one supra tt pump (or so im led to believe).

The jap spec cars are meant to have a different version (smaller I believe), think this is because they come with smaller injectors (think something like 440's compared to uk 550s?) along with smaller ceramic turbos, etc.

I almost brought one of MKIVsupra.net but found out it was a jap spec one.

I dont know what the flow capacity differences are, or if indeed there are any.

I'll be after this pump myself in a little while
