Stainless steel braided hose (for the last time)
Ok fellas here's the deal: I'm doing my fuel system now and have a couple of options. The first option is buying Aeroquip hose and fittings at a local dealer and cutting the hose and installing the fittings myself. Now I would either get the Aeroquip AQP Racing hose with their "patented elastomer inner tube" which supposedly is quite good and long lasting, resistant to all the bad stuff, etc. The other option from Aeroquip is the Teflon racing hose which is made with an extruded Teflon inner tube which is "compatible with a wide range of fluids." Applications include brakes, tranny, clutch, gauge, N20, power steering, hydraulic, A/C. There is no mention of it being used for fuel. The temp ranges and pressure rating are superior to the AQP racing hose. I think the fitting types are limited somewhat but they do offer reusuable.
Option 2:
A friend has already chosen this option with good results. A local company called "Asheville Hose" uses stainless steel hose that is Teflon lined and has a machine install the fittings. I suppose they are crimped somehow. They are permanent. The hose is a bit more stiff than the Aeroquip but seems to be excellent quality. I highly doubt there would be any issue with the fittings leaking. I have never installed Aeroquip style fittings before. Is it likely they will develop leaks?
Which route do I take? I want it done and done correctly.

teflon stuff is a bitch to bend esp. 10 AN. If running all new hose from front to back use the teflon under the car and then use the rubber from Your Y splitter to the rails. I am told that My fittings that I used for the teflon hose restrict flow more then the earls or Aeroquip.

The dual wall AQP is the best to use, the -10 teflon has a min radius of like 12" after that it crimps and you can throw that section away, also you have to use high pressure fittngs with teflon hose, (the 3x nickel plated steel ) you can only use the aluminum anodised reuseables with the dual wall AQP hose.
The Teflon is WAY over kill for fuel lines, you may get 45 -50 psi in the line, teflon hose is rated for over 1800 psi. ( powersteering levels ), also your going to pay almost double for teflon, I used a -6 teflon on my power steering and that's it.. everything else way AQP dual wall.
