secondary intake ports

wWle I have my motor apart I was thinking of opening up my intake ports. I went ahead and traced my secondary ports on a piece of paper and layed a stock port, which I also traced from a brand new housing, inside my existing port. The stock port is the white section and my existing port is the blackened areas around the stock port. What are your opinions? Is this port as small as i think it is? Do any of you guys have some templets I could use to compare my ports?

Thanks
Josh

Yep, that's basically it on the secondaries. There's still more to do as the port outlet is only 1/3rd of the total porting job. Not a bad first try, though.

Thanks Brian. The port openings have been widened and the primary ports have been touched up a little as well. I don't want to mess with the primary ports too much because I want to maintain a nice idle. This isn't exactly my own port job. I copied most of it from a couple well known rotary shops. I just thought they looked small as a whole considering I asked for relatively big ports when I had me previous motor ported.
