Rotary powered Cheetah

I want to know what you guys think about this.

Im thinking of building a kit car, and I keep going back to the cheetah because its so light and kits and parts are readily available.
However, I dont want a small block chevy....I wanna use a Pineapple racing 225 Hp 13b similar to the one they use for the mini truck series coupled to an RX8 six speed transmission. Everything else is corvette/cheetah parts. Has anyone tried mounting an rotary engine in an small chevy engine bay? Would this be awesome or what?

Actually the plan is to run the Pineapple 13b temporarilly, as its destined for my 1st gen....The plan was to run it on the street with 225hp until I finshed my 13b re turbo engine (expensive) With estimated 375 Hp at 15 psi with methanol injection.

But, Ill have to get used to the 1550 lb chassis with 225 Horses first. *chills*

there are some who put a SBC into a rx7 so I would not see any problems going the other way. Yes it would be awesome, more so with a 20b-t.
I would love to do a 3 or 4 in an gtr mk1, the looks of that with the sound of an R26b would be like sex.
