Renesis Rotors and Apex seals: Turbo Worthy?

Are the rotors and apex seals for the RX8's Renesis, turbo worthy? Will they hold up to a 60-1 Turbo, in a S4 or S5 engine?
Please don't be sarcastic or rude, I just want to know if anyone knows. I appreciate it.

Thanks for the help,

Tim

i dont think the renesis can take boost with its compression ratio, or at least from wut ive heard. they've talked about before try a search.

But if you're going to modify one to take a turbo - I think you might be able to get away with it if you increase the bowl size in the rotors, and if you use water injection to help cool the charge.

Or you could take the injectors and other stuff from a Diesel, extensively modify it, and use direct injection to run effing-high boost!!

I think it's the highest compression Rotary yet.

You can boost anything you just have to realise that 20lbs in a 9:1 is like the equivalent to 10lbs in a 10:1(i think? right?)

I am trying to remember what the Pineapple racing guy said. I thik something like 6-8lbs might be do-able in stock form.

just mill the rotors to decrease comp ratio.

Mazda Speed has stated possibly doing a quite safe turbo kit utilizing 5-6 PSI.

Too bad the side port needs that special new side ring, else you could just throw lower compression rotors in from an earlier engine.

(Solution to that problem: Run peripheral exhaust )

why would you PP a 13-MSP? THat just defeated the whole point of running side ports. If you are PP just get a plain jane 13B motor. Save you lots of $$$ as well

Guys he (JDriftM) was asking about putting Renesis High Compression rotors in an S4/5 T-II motor -
I dont know but agree Higher Compression means less boost tolerance
