Pic's of my new PFS Intake Manifold

Hey guys. In preperation for Summer Slam Ray just finished my custom intake manifold. This has been in the works for awhile. It turned out really nice. Im very pleased. It has 4 volicity stacks (spelling?) then goes to a 90mm throttle body. Will be dynoing tomorrow with the new setup. Ray has outdone himself again. Guy is amazing.

Funny you say that. Tomorrow we are tuning the new setup and once done, we're gonna swap the stock manifold back in to see where any gain or loss is made.

I had a long plenum about 12", but couldn't make it fit. So Ray made this. You make something similar? Honestly Cris, didn't know. Did it work for more power???

Yeh right!
The FD engine bay is very tight and you run out of working space in a hurry!
When I did the intake on V8 Killa I forgot about the Scoot hood and the downward sloping vents and it barely cleared the elbow on the TB where as on a stock hood it would have without any problems.

Both setups have been proven

I am afraid it comes down to the engine builder\tuner. With that said, I love the look of the "old school" setup

Impressive intake manifold with the Q45 throttle body

I think the new intake manifold will have very little gains or though the power curve will be alot stepper and peak slightly at a higher rpm. The torque curve will increase dramatically at a much higher rpm and be quite step

I look forward to seeing the comparsion of the 2 manifolds

And I do wish you the best of luck!

The manifold did indeed help. How much I don't know, but when I made 781rwhp I was pretty lean on the dyno. I just got done dyno tuning at Rays. At a very rich a/f ratio it was only 5hp lower and will stay togeather forever, lol. Knock on wood! I'll take 777rwhp all day long till the cows come home

Do you have a side by side dyno graph you could post?

We ran late and didn't have time to swap the manifolds out.

So you should change your user title and sig to 777rwhp.
