Help with Carb -85 RX7
I need help! I recently re-built my carb in my 85' RX-7. There were a couple of jets that was clogged, I clean them, but it still does not accelerate like it should, and there is a little of surging when going down the road. It took me a couple of trys to get the floats right - or close - I suspect that that could be the problem.
Any suggestions? Also, how many turns should the air/fuel mixture be turned?
Any cheap ways to tune it to get more performance?
Thanks in advance.

get a dial caliper to measure the float settings dont use the peice of **** paper measuring tool that came with the kit.
as for the a/f mix i think 3 1/2 turns out from all the way in is a good place to start at.

Welcome ...
for Nikki carb help, you should peruse the Gen I section archives. whatever you don't find there, you should PM either the user Sterling or the user Rx7Carl. they are probably 2 of the best resources on this board in that respect.
good luck. wish i could help more.
