yep, been doing that for a while. They do however catch on and will limit you. last time I went in, I was asked how many sets of plugs I had recieved from them...I told them that I had no idea. They said "we can only give you so many."

This must be a special deal with Advanced Auto. I checked at Kragen/Shucks/Checker, and they don't have the same warranty.

Hey, where in Lancaster do you work? I need a set of plugs, but I'd rather buy them from a fellow rotorhead

Just check their Website. The 2 yrs replacement warranty is for regular plugs and cost $4.99 each. The Platium plug cost $11.99 and only get 3 months Limited Warranty. I run platinum plus and I got them for $7.00 each, also they don't really have a store in S. CA so it means nothing to me

might be a good idea to buy 8 plugs at a time, then you cut down on how often you have to go. Sure it's a little more of an initial investment but may save a lot more in the long run.
Also this helps if they don't keep them in stock. . . can't exactly tell them to keep a supply on hand, that you change them every 3k miles!

RX-8 Iridium NGK plugs are RE7AL or RE7A-L for leading and RE9BT or RE9B-T trailing. I'm not sure if the dash is part of the part number. I've asked for RX-8 plugs at a few auto parts stores a while back and haven't been able to find them.

Let me guess, you're the type of douche bag that buys a suit at a department store, wears it to a wedding, then returns it the next day, and asks for your money back. Now isn't that right? Got any more stupid comments to make, you cheap ******?

I don't understand why some of you are jumping on this guy's case about this. He just simpy posted a nice piece of information that some of the members may appriciate. Why hate on the guy if NGK gives a warranty for 2 YEARS, FREE REPLACEMENT! To answer Iceman's questions, yes keep your receipt, and it helps if you keep the boxes that the plugs came with. They've screwed me once and gave me 2 7s and 2 9s (I use all 9s).

I clean them about every other month.
