Question... WHY IS ANYONE HELPING THIS PERSON (IDIOT)?
This gentleman came on this forum asking us how to make is car faster so he can outrun his buddies on the freeway at 160mph. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?
When I read his posts I want to vomit.
Apparently he understands the risk but still wants the advice.
If my kid came up to me and said, "Dad, I know drugs are wrong but I want to do them anyway. Will you show me how to build a hydroponics machine so I can grow it in the backyard?" I'm sure my response would be to help the little guy out. He obviously understands it's wrong so I should show him how to do it even better. What a great influence I could have on my son.
Before helping this poster anymore, ask yourself what highway will you be driving on later...Maybe you two will "accidently" meet up.
This whole thread really just makes me mad. And I don't get upset very easily.

Be smart...race the supra...on the track. Open track days aren't that expensive. Even has the same agenda. Nobody is impaired, and no little old ladies will suddenly change lanes on you without a signal.

I agree with you about keeping opinions on behavior in the lounge except when people are blatently negligent in their behavior. Think about when someone comes on here asking about an LS1 swap. Most people will chew into them saying they are destroying a perfectly good masterpiece and they refuse to help. But when someone comes here and says he is going to go 160mph on the highway but it's ok because he's "in control" we jump right in and enable him. It's ridiculas.
Ok, I'm done ranting about this. I think this forum is great, I just hate to see us helping people out that don't need our help.

sure I've had my high speed races on the freeway> but not since my friend smacked the back of a semi at 140.... trying to keep up with me... 02 SSCamero put the engine in the middle of the car.... some people learn there own lessons, some watch others......

You could use a center section from a 1981-1984B2000..
i think they came 4.11 and even lower around the 3.03 range..
Last i remeber..The entire senter section would fit in a GTU..we never got around to a turbo II
