I was giving Chris a hand with this and i had my camera so i took some pics.
This thing came from the same shop that produced the turbo hyabusa. Chris is wiring up the E6K. The owner wants approx 200-250whp. When this thing is done it should be one bad *** machine.

Some people got no limits!
The Hyabussa maxed the dyno output at 500 hp at 32psi.

That doesn't concern us. All Chris is doing is the wiring. The bike came to us just the way you see it in the pics.

Crispeed gave me a set to try but after the 1st and only good pass that day on the second run I broke both axle stubs in the diff and had to remove the entire sub-frame to drop the diff so as to be able to remove both pieces that were stuck in there. Plus my tranny started to act up by not going into gear. I was told I'm just at the limit of breaking the tranny. Chris attempted to make a pass and did a little better in the 60ft with a 1.90 vs my 2.065 but the tranny didn't want to go into gear any more.
I was running on stock axles so crispeed told me I was better of with the 18" that day. I have a set of custom axles to install but ran out of time before the event. Actualy I had Chris on the dyno the night before the race. I still have some tuning to do because the boost controller was maxed at 27psi and we were not going to stop untill the injectors were maxed.

What I do to keep from breaking driveline parts'
is to slip the clutch off the line ..instead of dumping the clutch.

There is a bit of play in the driveshaft before it engages
and when you dump the clutch you "shock" the hell of of the axles and tranny

John Shepard uses the slip method with his AWD stock tranny and can run 8.7's with a 1.3 60' on 4 slicks!

Well If you have one of those un-sprung clutch disks
It can be hard to slip the clutch..


I use a CC 6 puck bronze clutch disk with spring hub
makes engagement easier

I was sliping the clutch. It did not break of the line it broked just as the car got into full boost. I was using the 6-puck but it started to slip on the dyno and switch over to a 3-puck. I was told not to run the 6-puck in the 1st place because of the kind of abuse I wanted to throw at it plus the power levels I wanted. Plus the axles in there were pretty beat up form the previous owner. I don't know if you were around in Fl. a couple of years back but this car was originaly the red TII owned by Enrique Gonzales from Miami that was making 715 rwhp!
I bought the body form him minus the 700hp motor.

they sold my friend a 12a engine that was used from the junk yard and had it cleaned up.....it still had the u-pull it marking on it..it lasted a day...said they rebuilt the second time around and found the spark plugs screwed in at an angle...
