Bad things about Rotarys

HAHAHA you are so right!!! The Fd has crazy handinling. Vary light and dosnt fight back on the turn. Than again... most Rx-7's do the same. Cuz the engine coaprates with the driver and the chassi of the car is great

Somewhere on this site is a thread that goes into all the "You might be an FD/FB/FC owner if...." like Jeff Foxworthy but with rotarys. Anyone know where that is? It was a really funny read. I think one of the jokes was "If you have enough spare parts lying around to build another motor.... you might be...."
I saw it one day, but cannot seem to find it again. There were a couple threads like that now that I think about it.

Only bad thing...(FD)
I just bought my first Rotary... I have been lurking on this board for well over 5 yrs, and finally I bought an FD. The only bad thing I found is the time it takes to truly understand your car, and the time and meticulous detail you must keep in mind when trying to find that perfect FD.
If you don't spend the time, and/or you aren't mechanically inclined, you will be better off spending your money elsewhere as the expenses will rack up. Tunes, upgrades, fixing 13 yr old parts, and paint refinishes (done correctly!) will add up faster than you might think.
This car is addictive, and sooo unique on the road. The moment you own it and drive it, it will leave a long lasting impression that will leave you looking for reasons to drive the car.
Read, learn, digest and repeat. That is my advice as a new FD owner, and the only negative.

look if you take away all the factory wiring and twin turbos. the car is 10 times easyer to work on and much more reliable. remmber the factory setup was only built for 265. if you add 250hp to that then you need a 500hp setup. you have to take that it account tha oil, cooling systom, and exhaust temps. this goes for hooking up all cars. i had a friend that was an idiot and blowup two honda b18 ls motors because he didnt have patience and have the car tuned right. that goes for all motors again.
kids that wont to have cars like fast and the blerrrrest. start getting part and run out of money then dont have a good tuner, tune the car and it blows up. they dont understand this stuff takes time to learn and do right. they just wont everything right now. i was the same way but, i had a father that helped me out and showed me everything i needed to do and how to do it right. now here i am 10years later fixing kids cars after they blow them up. just my .02
