RZ brakes

Hello, does anyone have any on track experience with the RZ caliper and rotors on all four corners of there track ride? I have a 3rd gen track car and i am looking at the StopTech front kit, but with the sale and our racer prices at MazdaMotorsports going to the RZ on all four is a bit less money and i suspect better balanced but unsure if they provide a noticable difference on the track. If anyone has any experience with the RZ's or the StopTech kit i would love to hear. Thanks, Jim

I'll be testing out my new rz brakes at road america mid april. I'll be using n-tech lap day pads, brake ducts, titanium shims and 2 piece autoexe rotors up front.

Search the suspension section, there are plenty of good reviews of rz brakes from guys who track their cars.

Rynberg has Stop Techs in front and RZs in the rear, maybe he can chime in for you, or search his name.

One interpretation of the question--keeping price constant--is it better to buy Stoptechs up front ONLY or get a full front AND back RZ brake package? If I recall the value of both options is around $2000.

Manny (SleepR1) ran the 99s all around at the track regularly. Search for his older posts. I have not been on the track yet with this new setup due to many non-car related personal factors....

Ptrhahn also runs the Stoptech/99 combo on the track regularly, so checking with him would be best.

If I had to choose, I would go with Stoptech front over 99 all around.

You DO NOT want to run stock size front pads on a track FD.

Get a stop tech kit or buy my porsche kit hehe.
