Mazda Owners Club of America

I received an email yesterday from the factory Mazda Motorsports Development about MOCA. The web site still has some teething problems. I wonder who is behind this; do you think it is Mazda North America?

I would be interested in some race track all Mazda get togethers that are spread around the country. I went to the first Mazda club weekend at Summit Point about 11 or 12 years ago, I had a lot of fun, but that is too far of a tow for me to want to do it again. It would be nice to have something closer to home like Road Atlanta or Barber Motorsports Park; and I would think that others would like some all Mazda track days in their parts of the country. Several months ago, I saw some ads in the back of a vintage magazine about some all Mazda track days at VIR et al coming for 2008, but they looked VERY pricey, and I haven't heard any more about them recently.

It looks like that website is owned by a company in the Netherlands so who knows if its a Mazda owned site or not.

A lot of us are members of Mazda Motorsports as they provide us discounts on parts for those of us that race Mazdas. This is the link: http://mazdamotorsports.com/

Hope you find some company at the track!
