Kosei K1 16x8.5 on an FC?

Has anyone tried fitting the 8.5 wide Kosei K1's on the front of an FC?
My friend's Turbo II track car is running 15x8 steel custom stock car rims all around (for better gearing and a lower car) and I'd like an 8" wide or better aluminum wheel option without going to 17" rims. It seems every inch you add to the rim the price of the tires just about doubles.

thoughts?

I think 15x8 is the widest you can go for the front
not sure about the back

I'd believe that the offset would make a big difference too!

BTW, are you on 780Tuners?

Don't take my word for it, but I think a 16x8.5 +30 offset would fit in front. You might have to roll the fender, though. I'm running a 17x8 +35 with a 235/40/17 with pretty aggresive camber, and it doesn't rub. It will also depend on your suspension setup.

Yup, I poke around on 780 tuners.
As for the suspension setup it will be a Mazdacomp stage 2 kit. Coil overs and adjustable Koni's on all corners. Eibach sawybars on both ends and every bushing in the car will be delrin. I plan on rolling the fenders as well.

I'm running 17x8.5 Kosei Seneca's up front w- 225/45's. Got a friend running 17x9.5 or 10's in front w-245/40 or 35's and it just fits w/out rolling the fender. However, he has only ~-1 deg camber as well. That's the biggest I've seen able to fit still being functional.

If you want his specific specs as I'm close from what I can remember, he's on here at bkapold@aol.com and PM him.
