EProdRx7, can you explain your setup in this photo:
That looks mighty complicated! Specifically, I'm not sure why there are two lines running out of the cell to what looks like a pump and then back into the cell. Do you have a surge tank stuffed in there or something? Maybe I'm missing something...
Beautiful setup - I especially like the box and hinged cover you made there. Excellent!
RX-Ben, for some reason I never took any good photos of the cover, but I have attached what I have. When I get a chance I'll take a few detailed photos of it...

Ok I'll tell but then I have to kill you! Just kidding. So here goes. There is a low pressure pickup in each rear corner of the cell. From each, a line comes out of the cell to a pump, the gold boxes at the front. The pumps pump back into the cell to a surge tank where a high pressure pump is mounted. That pump pumps out of the cell to the motor which is the line with the filter. The -8 line next to that is the return from the motor which feeds back into the internal surge tank. Last is the breather with the foam on the end of it. Also the is a fuel sample port on one of the LP pumps that is wired to run separately when a sample is needed. It worked ok but latter versions were simplified and a pressurized (low ~6-10psi) internal tank and internal lp pumps were used. Also the HP pump was moved out of the tank for ease of maintenance. Fuel starvation is what kills these pumps. 5-6 seconds of no fuel and the pump is dead. In the six years I raced this car I must have spent more then $3k in fuel system ****
