Mark Twain, one of many who has suggested that a life without risks is not a life worth living. ...
Mark Twain suggested by Robert C. Knies, Jr., RN, MSN, ... Many highly intelligent people are poor thinkers. Many people of average intelligence are skilled thinkers. ..... To win without risk is to triumph without glory. Pierre Corneille ...... To have a death worth dying, one must first have a life worth living. ...
PS I believe this.

Who is Brian Lock & Gotofabrication/Tapped Racing???
Who is GOTO:Racing
Condensed Team Overview
GOTO:Racing LLC is an up and coming professional racing organization out of Northern California. Founded in 2003, this family owned team was quick to capture the attention of the racing community with their fast driving, skillful execution, and ability to succeed far beyond their means. Having swelled it’s ranks to 8 employees, GOTO:Racing enters the 2009 season fully equipped to the task of campaigning a national level series. Not content to simply go for the win, this unique group of personalities and competitive spirits constantly push their abilities to ensure they are always meeting their goals of success and education. Demanding a lot of themselves and of each other is how this team never fails to outperform expectations.
A Short History
In 2003, an upset rocked the Western Endurance Racing Championship series as a completely unknown entry in the E3 category passed the reigning champion and current points leader for the win in the few closing laps of a June 6 Hour event at Reno-Fernley Raceway. The 87 CRX, built by the Lock family and driven by Chris and Brian Lock, would also go on to win the 12 hours of Thunderhill, the most prestigious endurance race West of the Mississippi, the very next month. The Lock family had arrived on the California racing scene.
2003 also brought the team’s first sprint championship in the same car, a feat they would repeat in 2005 in the highly competitive Honda Challenge series. 2005 also saw GOTO:Racing enter the US Touring Car Championship with their Subaru WRX Touring Car. 3 Wins and 5 podiums would earn GOTO the Championship Runner-up to the well-funded SPOON team.
But perhaps their greatest achievement was the development of the Subaru Legacy GT program for the Grand-Am Koni Challenge series, the most competitive pro sedan racing in the country. GOTO:Racing would team with sponsors COBB Tuning and GST Motorsports to launch Chris and Brian Lock into Grand-Am. In just under 3 months, they had developed a car and a program that would capture a Top 5, two Top 10’s, and establish a higher performance record than the factory-backed Subaru Legacy effort. A dominant performance at Miller Motorsports Park at the end of 2007 would show what GOTO could really do, capturing pole, breaking the track record, leading the most laps, and coming home second in Koni Challenge action.
2007 and 2008 would see GOTO:Racing contracted to build and develop the GST Motorsports Time Attack Impreza. Responsible for all fabrication, chassis, and aerodynamic work, GOTO would help GST to become THE dominate Subaru Time Attack car in the country. This car now holds track records all over California.
Who is Tapped Racing
Tapped Racing was founded in 2008 by Aly Bruner. With a love for vintage vehicles and an appreciation for racing history, Aly bought an ex-IMSA GT RX-7 Single Turbo. His intent was to show the country how fast the FD chassis can be, and take the Time Attack scene by storm. A second RX-7 was purchased, the 2007 NASA TTS championship winning car. This would give Tapped Racing both an Unlimited and Limited Preparation 2 car team. 2008 was spent developing and getting to know the chassis, as well as bringing both cars up to spec on current racecar safety standards. Over the winter Tapped Racing signed pro driver Brian Lock, securing a top level driver to lead the team to many future lap records.
With a lot of development left to do, Tapped Racing took a one two finish in each cars class at the NASA season opener in February. The unlimited car being driven by lead driver Brian Lock, and Aly himself taking home second in his limited prep RX-7.
Having a taste of victory, Aly is now hungry and determined to duplicate the winning result at every event he attends.
