I wasn't looking forward to working on the fuel cell but it turned out not to be so bad, with a little help from Ray we were able to finish the frame in a couple of hours.
Here is the frame, the nuts that hold the cell are welded on top
here she is installed
here's a look from below
I'm running out of parts to install

Im looking forward to seeing the bulkhead you will be installing. Have you thought of how you are going to install it to see up the fuel cell area from the driver's compartment? Or are you going to install a floor over it?

I think I've got that covered, my plan is to just put a vertical wall that will seal at the sides and the hatch. I've also considered what I saw on an E production rx7 fc, which was a box with a removable cover. Remember I'm gonna be using a dry break fueling setup that will come in from behind so I should be able to keep it all confined to the back.

Have the exhaust flush with the side of the car, that would look sexyyyyyy.
Awesome build, can't wait to see more.

I agree with both of you guys, the reason it sticks out is because I'm going to be running the petit flares, they're just not mounted yet. I was trying to get the flames away from the fiberglass/plastic (what ever material they are).
The sunroof opening already has the small tabs welded to mount a thin piece of plexi.

Oh and a question about your fuel cell. How do u feed the fuel pump? Do u need a lift cappable pump to work with that fuel cell? Im considering buying a real fuel cell that is FIA aprooved.

Al u can make it something similar to this with the wall. Are u allowed to use a plexi glass cover?

this is exactly what I had in mind, except I'm going to use a sheet metal cover. the pickups are at the bottom and the exits are at the top so the pump does have to draw the fuel. I'm gonna use walbro pumps (my favorites).
