I bought some rims from him and intended to pick them up. He lives about 6 hours away from me. With school starting and work picking up (I work at US 131 motorsports park) I was having trouble getting down there. So I told him my problems and he replied "no problem I will hold them" So not being able to get down there I ask him if he could ship them with me paying everything of course. He tells me he will get me a quote and I wait for the quote. I recently send him a message asking for the quote and he replies "sorry they have been sold you waited to long to pick them up"....... ummmmmm yea not happy here

IT's kinda screwed up that he sold them when you'd already paid for them. HOWEVER, if you drug *** about going to get them, I would not have been happy with you either. I would have pm'd you and told you that you had X number of days, or weeks, or whatever, to come get them, after which time you'd start getting charged storage of XX dollars per week, and after XX number of weeks the rims would be sold to cover the storage costs and your payment would be forfeited.
But to simply make that decision on your own and sell them twice is bullshit.

If he would have told me that he was going to get rid of them and I had a time limit then I would have skipped class or somthing to go and get them. Yes they were the Rota's with the lip dings in them. They way he made ti sound was that he would hold them until I could get around to picking them up.

The wheels were purchased on July 20, 2006 He said he would be down in about 2 weeks to pick them up. I said thats kool, but i can hold them for up to 90 days if something comes up. i ended up holding on to them for a matter 126 days before i got rid of them. i didn't need them and didn't want them anymore. so i traded them for something i could use. You tell me who you think is in the wrong. cause i really don't think its mine.

WTF is wrong with you? You think you get to keep his money and then sell it to someone else on top of that? That's not only a scam that's criminal goofy. I'd suggest calling the local police and his if he doesn't refund the money immediately. WTH are you people thinking?

Yeah, I'd probably sit down and work out a reasonable storage fee per-week or per-month between when they were paid for and when they were resold, keep that storage amount for your trouble, and give him back some...probably less than half, but still something. I would NOT give him back all or most of his money.

You sir, are a fucktard. If paid for the wheels and never came to get them then just refund his money and say sorry buddy the deal is off. If your orginal deal did not include a storage fee you can’t add one post hoc, I am sure your “lawyer” will agree with me.
Now you have two choices
1) be a man and refund his money
2) be whiny little bitch and try steal some of this guys money.
The choice is yours
