Will my car run if...
I bought an almost bone stock FD two weeks ago. The only mod's it has are a new muffler + straight through pipe where the cat used to be.
Mods I have recently bought + intend to install this week are as follows:
1.) Modified primary fuel rail w/ 850cc injectors
2.) Gotham Racing generic DP
3.) Fluidyne Radiator
4.) Power FC + Commander (Still have yet to do this install, is DaleClarks writeup any good?)
5.) I am planning on getting a 2-row FMIC as a temporary.
Will the PFC run these mods w/ the factory base map on it? I know the snag I will run into will be in regards to the 850 primary's.... Is there a write up on someone that has done this mod + successfully run it on a base map?
Any help, thoughts + comments would be greatly appreciated.

My writeup works just fine...
I would really try and not run the 850 primaries if you can. They're hard to tune for a good idle and cruise, and that will immediately make your car hard to get on the street. I'd look at selling them and getting 1300's for the secondaries if you want an easy drop-in.
Also, with the mods you're doing, you don't need larger injectors just yet - really, you need lots of other things first. Like gauges, AST, and fixing anything that's broken on the car, like old tires, worn suspension, etc.
I'd also look at getting a good boost controller. With that straight midpipe, you're gonna have some spikes with the factory control setup.
Long story short, don't bother with the upgraded primaries for now - that's causing WAY more problems than it will fix.

Okay... well I had a shipping nightmare with the PFC unit that I ordered but I finally got it taken care of.
Now that I have the PFC installed I was thinking about installing the DP --- I also purchased a Profec B that is in the mail and I am still looking for a datalogic for the PFC.
Can anyone give me some pointers on some basic configurations I should make to run my setup (stock injectors, aftermarket downpipe, midpipe + exhaust)
I have a boost gauge, water temp gauge + oil pressure gauge.
Still do not have a wide band yet.

Thats correct, it is one heck of a suburb I must admit! Want to help me do a base tune on my PFC some time? I was playing around in the "boost" settings of the PFC --- not sure what I did but the car takes off like a bat out of hell in 2nd to redline... in 3rd it pulls all the way to about 5k and then the boost drops down to 5.... Im going to reset the ECU, I was just seeing what effects a slight adjustment would have.
I need to find someone in the Texas area other than Steve Khan (too poor right now) that has a pretty good history with these units. Anyone want a few beers and a free lunch in exchange for some PFC training lessons?

Greg, I know of a guy who tuned his own Power FC on his FD while in Japan and helped me rebuild my motor. Hes very knowledgable when it comes to the Power FC but hes located in San Antonio. Pm me and I can get you his number.
