Used PFC Install, Won't Start
Hello All,
I picked up a used PFC from a member here. It came with a tune for a FD with similar mods so I figured I would try it before resetting it. The seller could not verify it worked because it came with the car. Anyways, I got the car to start and idle, although rough. Before starting I checked my sensors and everything looked good. I then reset it to factory so it would do the idle learn process, this is where I ran into issues.
I followed DaleClark's install guide to a T, cutting the four wires, adjusting the idle bleed screw multiple times. I have checked and rechecked everything. The car has run great with no CEL or anything like that which is why I attempted the install.
I noticed a clicking noise coming from the engine bay and found it was the Turbo Precontrol solenoid. I can swap to the factory ecu and it starts right up and runs great, no clicking from that solenoid. In my quest to determine what is wrong I also checked the sensors and they're almost all lit up all of a sudden which was alarming because they weren't before I reset it.
any ideas what's wrong? I have searched and everyone that had similar issues, the post just dies off without a solution. Is the PFC bad or is it the car?

I should clarify, it turns over between 2-300 RPM, attempts to start and then dies off.
I also adjusted the TPS prior to installing the PFC. I can confirm it is in range although this reports it as not. I find it alarming all the sensors are reading out of range of all of a sudden when I know for sure narrow and full range of the TPS report as out of range.

4.99 voltage values means the circuit is broken:
(1) the sensor is missing or burned out or internally broken
(2) the circuit between the sensor and ecu is broken
(3) another bad used PFC ecu!
VTA2 only goes to 4.99 with fully floored throttle.
If all worked before change from stock ecu to PFC, you got screwed on the PFC, unless you screwed up the harness.

The car will not start with the PFC seeing max voltage at every sensor. Unplug the PFC, check for damage at the connectors and wires. When removing the connectors from the ECU do not ever pull on the wires.

Thanks for the response. I have checked the wires and all seems to be okay, especially because I can swap it and it will start immediately with the stock ecu. The pins on the PFC are straight and none are missing. The seller was willing to honor the sale and refund the money so it looks like I will just have to ship it back.
