tuning power fc

how hard is tuning on the power fc? ive never really had to tune a car besides messing with a fpr for air/fuel on a civic. ill mostlikely get a laptop but will i need the controller also? i really feel lost on this subject and would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me better understand it, thanks

To tune properly with the powerFc you will need:

Datalogit w/software - approx $300
Laptop
Wideband O2 setup (and I suggest you get one that integrates to the datalogit) approx $300-$400

Then you will have to spend alot of time learning about tuning in general for the rx7.

What part of Nc you in?

That I cant tell you as I have never used one of those...

But if you are going to keep modifying the car you need to go with a programable stand alone. It is not to hard to pick up, there is plenty of info on it out there - it just takes a little work.

I bought my car in hickory 2 and a half years ago. I now live in huntersville (north of charlotte) so I dont think I am too far. I know there are a few guys up in your area - you should try to meet up with them. You can get so much info by attending meets.
