Timing Logs Off
I have searched but no real answer....
My basic, and advanced, timing logs are 4 to 5 degs below the timing in the map from about 5psi boost and above.
Which timing should I trust, the map or the log?
And why might this be happening?

First thing! If you Settings 3 Map Referenece Boost and RPMs are not the same as the map that is used while looking at Map Watch, then the displayed data will be in the wrong cells.
Second thing! Use a Map Watch Hold off (mSec) of at lease 20 to pick data that is more centered in the cell.

I have the Settings Map Ref. setup for the 3 bar GM, which I "ASSUME" is the same as the Map Watch. Did I miss something in setting up the Map Watch

When tracing timing and AFR curves I go back into the charts and follow the lines with the slider bar thingie. I set up my watches and look at that for actual numbers. If you use the ghost and map trace feature it will give you an idea of what cells you are falling in to.
Once you get the hang of adjusting the timescale it can sometimes be more accurate than map watch because you need to constantly fiddle with the mapwatch holdoff settings.
Make sure you go into the Setup menu and set the source to "Advance" or "Map Ref," whichever you prefer, and then go into Map watch options menu and set it to the same setting.
