For those with air pump removed
well, I have been struggling to get my c ar running properly after air pump removal. I am on my way now, evyething is almost back to normal, just a littel more tweaking to get soem rough unning out. As it is know I still get really rough running when holding idle at 2k. Anyway solution was to remove a bunch of fuel at idle, not only via PIM but in maps. Just using PIM will not get right results. anyway, after doing that I started with some hesitation around 2000-2800 rpm low rpms, so I added some fuel there too. Strangely enough I developed the 3k, or more acuratley, 3200 rpom hesitation. I dialled in a littel more there as well. I think it was p10 and p11. anyway, point is nobody has come up with map yet for air pump removal. I am going ot post eveything I have done, when I am finally finished. It is kind of a pain in the ***, because such small changes, especially when during light throttle, o2 sensor is not accurate enough. BTW, I still have the lower pipe to ACV from airpump open, and sucking in air fom under hood. the outlet or top one is plugged. I'll keep you guys posted.

I never changed anything on my maps when I removed the pump. As a matter of fact when I removed my pump I was on hold for a commander and couldnt have made changed if I wanted to. I drove mine fine for about 4-5months with no pump, the base map, and no changes.
I had both the pipes pluged.
I still think something else is wrong. I think you need to remove all the ACV crap, maybe its going crazy. I've never heard of anyone having these kind of problems with a pump removal.
Hope you find the solution soon!!!!!

I had a little roughness in the bottom end when under very light throttle but it idled great and ran great.
However that was after my XS "tune" before then with just the base map it was fine.....go figure.
I've never had or heard of a fuel prob as severe as yours due to removing the air pump.
I know people that removed the air pump with the stock ecu and had no problems.
