simple pfc question
my 93 is still pretty stock and im wondering if i swap in a power fc will i need a commander to set some things on the initial start up? or if i swap it in and turn the car on will it run the same as stock and not need tuning until i start adding on performance parts...

I agree with Chuck on getting a commander. I wouldn't trade mine for anything.
However, if your car's still relatively stock, you should be able to swap in the PFC and drive off without any problems. Just be sure to let it learn the idle first. I put mine in while my car had very few mods on it and was thrilled with how much better the car ran. However, IIRC the PFC has richer maps than the stock ECU, so your mileage and plugs might suffer a little.
One other thing. I'm assuming you're buying a new PFC. If you're getting it used, then you'll need to make sure it still has the stock settings still into it.
