should a battery disconnect change my settings??

car was running great but i left it sitting for about a week and when i went to start it the battery was dead. jumped it and it was sputtering at about 5000 rpm and would only boost to about 5lbs.

the tech i use said that it was the settings for the boost in the power fc were off and now it boosts fine..... i have not had a chance to get to the car to drive it.

does this sound right??

Should not have, but the battery should have been disconnected from the car while re-charging. You know about resetting ECU's don't you? Might have gotten some error coded due to the draining battery. Never hurts to reset the ECU!

Disconnect the battery ground lead for about 15 minutes so that all voltage potential to the ECU is drained. This resets any error codes and resets the idle learn process. Same for stock ECU or PFC.
