setting boost
Have a power FC with commander. I lost my manual and would like to increase the boost tonight since I am going to the track tomorrow and my manual will not be in intil next week. I am non-seq and running 10 lbs. Would like to run 12lbs max. Could someone give the the steps on how to do this?
Thanks

built my own engine
set the target boost for 12lbs (about .80kg/cm2) and then set the duty cycles to try and hit it
if you're not close, it will lean out to try and compensate, so make sure you're close with the duty cycles of the wastegate (raise the % to raise boost)

Something wierd is going on with Power FC during hard acceleration on boost. I notice that the twins have a tough time getting past the boost dip during switchover (4500 rpm). The target of 0.85 kg/cm^2 (~12 psi) is reached on the primaries, but once the revs climb past 4500 rpm the boost drops to 5 psi, and doesn't climb back to 12 psi like it's supposed to with my foot on the floor. The revs to climb do 8000 rpm eventually albeit at a slower rate with only 5 psi. I've found that if I lift and SQUEEZE the accelerator to the floor that the switchover is more seamless, and the boost DOES climb back to 12 psi from 5000 rpm to redline (8000 rpm). What the heck is going on?

If you don't hit your "target boost", the PFC will just read the fuel values for whatever boost you actually are hitting. The target boost and duty cycles have no effect on the fuel maps other than if you exceed the target boost by 0.25 kg/cm2, the PFC will fuel-cut.

Check your MAP pressure sensor settings. Go to settings, then PIM Volt. Make sure your setting is on No. 1, NORMAL. If it's set on No. 2 Option 1, or any other option, your boost will shoot straight up during part throttle, and the car will run like **** at idle. Go ahead, ask me how I know this LOL
