Secondary Injectors don't work?

I installed the PowerFC 3 weeks ago and today had it dyno'd to know where I stand before tunning. I was mega surprised when it gave out 230 HP which are near stock numbers and thought they're machine was broken since I was expecting ~300 HP. Since my mechanic was just next door, I told him and he took it for a test drive. He said it did feel like a stock car and then looked at my commander. He noticed that the secondary injectors aren't editable. Both primary's are editable and set to 100% but there is no option beside the secondary's.

When I got home I swapped the Petit ECU back on and took it for a run and it did feel faster though I'm going back tomorrow morning to do another dyno just to make sure. Does anyone know why the secondary injectors wouldn't be on?

Let me see if I got this correct:
(1) you installed a new pFC.
(2) without tuning or making adjustments with it, you had it dynoed and made the 230whp.

DOH, you expect it to be pretuned for your exact setup? lt is sent out with a generic SAFE map for the twins. In fact it is too safe for many light modded engines.

The PFC ECU only needs you to EDIT the secondary injector size and lag and it does the rest. You mechanic made an assumption based on lack of knowledge.
Since he does not know the PFC, don't trust him!

IF you want him to tune your PFC, buy my PFC/DL tuning notes. He will need a Datalogit to tune the PFC properly.

Everyone I've talked to says it works out of the box. Are you saying that there can be a 70 HP loss with the base map? Mods are as follows...

rebuilt engine with street port and 3mm apex seals
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
dual filter K&N intake with heat sheild
3" down pipe and 3" cat-back exhaust
Koyo Performance radiator
Aluminum AST (Fighter's Version)

I just came back from running a dyno with the old Petit ECU and it gave 230 HP again so something else is wrong.

My mechanic says he's tuned 2 other PowerFC's. He runs a rotary performance shop so he isn't clueless. He said that the other one's he has worked with had the secondary injectors editable. Is it normal for the secondary injectors not to be editable?

What PFC for which cars has he tuned?
What are your injector sizes?

The PFC comes with a base mod generic setup. It has to be customized and tuned for your setup in order to produce maximum power. And if you want to make more than stock, the engine also has to be modified and/or run higher boost.

The FD PFC allows editing of the secondary injectors Q value (size) and lag diferential. The max secondary size with only the commander is 1500.

With you porting, you should make over 350whp at 15psi boost.

Apparently my cat was broken again. He removed it and put a test straight through and the power automatically climbed to 275 HP. That still isn't ideal but I guess a tune will fix that. I still have stock injectors and am running twins with 11.5 PSi btw.

You did not mentioned having a MP, so I should have known that you had a cat.
This robs about 20HP. Time to get a metal substrate cat instead of the
out-of-date ceramic ones.

My mechanic already said he would build me a mid pipe

How far should I push the twins PSi wise? This is my daily driver so reliability takes priority over max power.
