secondary injector question
is there a setting in the pfc that will tell the secondaries not to function? my secondaries do not seem to be working, i have 4 850s and i have swapped them and it still bogs and runs lean when the secondaries should start working.

It has been a while since I even started my car let alone plugged in the laptop and messed with anything but I'm sure someone here will know the answer to that. Where in Wyoming are you ?

it was installed in the car before i bought the car, i have never had a problem with it, never been dropped or kicked. everything works or appears to work. it is pretty much the only thing i didnt change when i put in my new motor. when i put in the motor i also did a new harness, coils, injectors. same fuel pump and turbo setup though.

Did the injectors sit around for a long time before you installed them? It's possible they are stuck, I've seen it before. You can un-stick them by using 12v (a car battery) and a ground wire and pulsing either the voltage or ground to pulse the injector and listen for the click.
Otherwise I would start with what you changed, i.e. the injectors or possibly the harness. Check for continuity between the EMS side and injector side of the harness.

OK, so it's probably not the physical injectors. Still could be the harness, I would check for continuity between the EMS side and the injector clips so make sure there are no breaks.

One listens for the injectors clicking.
The other pulls the connector for the seconday injectors from the PFC, and applies 12V to the connector pins. Use Section F of the FSM to determine which connector, pins and polarity.
Can you borrow another PFC for a test.

i am trying to get one from a friend.ill do the test from the ecu plug with 12 volts on the injector wires to see if im getting clicking. do the secondaries fire if i am just free revving? if so that would be alot easier to check if the are getting signal. my car revs just fine in nuetral if that means anything.
