People seem to be getting several different "Base" maps these days. The one that shipped with my 5.08 PFC is a little different than the one shown here - http://www.exorzero.com/skotx/powerfc/ as Base Mod. Someone else recently mentioned having Base Mod fuel and Base Stock IGN. Also the "Base" map that came with my Datalogit was supposed to be Apexi's standard 5.08 "Base" map, and it also has very strange IGN settings. The "All Data Init" function will restore your PFC to whatever it came with, I suggest doing that, then checking it against the Base Mod map on the above link. If they match then you will be more than safe with it to run with your mods. I have the same minus the HFC but add the Efini Y-Pipe, huge FMIC, and RP fuel pump and I'm running way too rich. Hopefully a midpipe will get me into a more reasonable range to fine tune from.

I'm running the base "mod" map on my car. I don't have the FMIC or high-flow cat, but I do have a midpipe. However, I'm running at .89v @ WOT. This is at stock boost. My knock never gets higher than 60

does a higher volt on the o2 sensor mean richer or leaner?

Higher Volts = Richer A/F. This graph is from Autometer:

Obviously with the stock O2 sensor you can't rely on those numbers for safe tuning. But it is a fairly decent indicator of your ballpark.

No, look at the chart again, Volts on the left side, and A/F goes on the bottom. With a warmed up sensor 9.0 Volts is in the 11.5:1 range which is rich. Higher volts = richer A/F

I just had mine dyno tuned at KDR and I have an M2 intake, medium IC, dp, and RB dual tip and I was a little on the lean side with the stock cat. With a midpipe you should be really lean on the stock maps, and running on a fine line of getting detonation.

Also with my setup at 12 psi, I was gettin 93% injector duty cycle when the temps are really hot. What is your inj. duty cycle at as well?

If you are running all that plus a mid pipe, have it tuned and get larger injectors or you will be getting a new motor soon.

KDR's dyno back up???
I think you should be fine with the Base Mod map, check agains the other and add some fuel if needed. Do you have an EGT Gauge???

Can you guys post which version of the base map you're running.

when you start up the PFC it should display v5.07 for eg. the base map isn't a particular map it's just the map that was shipped with the comp from apexi. There are different versions of this "base map" so simply saying the A/F or timing was fine with the base map can be misleading.
