What do you do when you need to reprogram your PowerFC's after adding some new mods? Does everyone buy the software and do it themselves or send it to someone to program? If the latter, who does the reprogramming for a reasonable price? I see some of the vendors do initial programming, but don't see the programming service specifically offered alone.

 

Since you're asking these questions most likely you should look for a tuner in your area that works with PFC's. Otherwise tuning is always a good trade to learn, yet comes with the risk of blowing engines up without the right information/ guidance.

If you're running more then 10 lbs of boost you should have the car tuned. If you change your fuel system in any way, you should have the car tuned. If you want the most reliable power/ fuel economy you should have the car tuned. (*note most tuners don't spend much time in tuning the cruise maps.)

If you aren't bothered with maximum reliable HP or best fuel economy and have no more then intake exhaust and intercooler then you can run the base map that comes with the pfc
