Removing Airpump and PFC
With the PFC, do I need to do anything when removing the airpump. My understandign is I just need to disconnect the connector and voila. no plates, resistors, etc.
can someone confirm this. I want to install my greddy pulley kit tonight.
Thanks
Philip

When I do my AFR runs, I only disconnect the wiring plug from the pump and all runs fine. I still leave the O2 idle control on as it seems to
idle smoother.
Just pull your pump and test which idle control function gives you the best idle. Nothing else to do.

Mine idles the same with or without the airpump connected, and I never noticed anychange when running it.
It's wierd. It's just like with the stock ECU. Some FDs idle fluctuates with the airpump disconnected and some dont.

If yours is the same either way, I'd say theres a problem with the system somewhere. I used a bigger check valve for the vacumm line that feeds vacumm (from the back of the extension manifold) to the two solenoids that connect to the ACV stuff which seemed to have made the system work better, the small one that was originally on there seemed to be quite restrictive.
