I've never had a turbine damamged. I've had the Apex Isamu, Greddy T88 and now the HKS T51R KAI and have never had a problem.
Anyways Hurleys are trash.

I had some turbine damage on my RX6 when I bought it, but it wasn't evident until I removed the turbine housing. It looked perfect from the outside, but I was talking to Ray at SR and he suggested removing the housing to take a look. Sure enough, there were little chunks out of the ends of the blades. I called a bunch of turbo shops, and TEC was the only one that would even look at my injured RX6. I sent it in and they trimmed the damage from the turbine and rebalanced the rotating assembly for a very fair price.

They can't do full service on it, since no one in the U.S. can get parts for it. But they were able to trim the damage from my wheel and rebalance it. I was very happy with the way they handled everything.
