Whats the difference between the base map and the base mod map? Is there a way to use the base mod map by just selecting an option on the PFC? Also I see that the base mod map is set up for Intake, DP, High-flow cat, cat back, and intercooler. Now, I don't have an intercooler, but I do have a midpipe, would this base mod map work with my mods? (see below)

Go here: http://www.exorzero.com/skotx/powerfc/ and run a comparison on Base Stock and Base Mod. From past discussions on this forum, Base Mod is actually the safer of the two (due to less timing advance, I believe).

To be honest, I don't know where Base Stock even came from. Apparently the PFC used to ship with the Base Stock maps, but no one on this fourm has received a PFC with those maps in the last year, they all come with Base Mod.

No, you can't hit a button and switch with the Commander. You'd have to program all the numbers manually.

 

My PFC just came with the Base Stock map for INJ corrections but the 2 timing maps were Base Mod (Map #2). Don't know why but I checked all the discrpencies between the two for the INJ map and 6 boxes each on the Timing maps just to be sure.

The INJ map differences are minor anyway it seems and most other maps I've seen 'undid' the differences.
