PowerFC Datalogit and FJO Wideband Setup Help

Hello All,

I am newer to using this forum, but am hoping that someone can help me with the issues I am experiencing. First off, I have a 1994 RX-7 that is slightly modified. I am utilizing the Apexi Power FC ECU with Datalogic and FJO wideband controller.
The issue I am experiencing is that after connecting the FJO wideband to the Datalogit appliance, I am not recording any AFR’s with the FCEdit software.

Configuration Information:
After contacting FJO, I was told to utilize the red wire I believe labeled “A” on the control units four port power supply block. Above / Below the power feed and return. I was told by FJO to just connect this to my ECU or in this case the Datalogit AN1 port… After completing that, I still didn’t receive any AFR or voltage readings in the RAW format. I talked to some people and was told to use the AN2 as a ground. I have set that up to the ECU ground, but still receive no voltage or AFR numbers. I have checked and unchecked delta an1 – an2 under aux. options in the FCEdit setup.

What I am looking for from the group:
Has anyone utilized the FJO Wideband with the Datalogit interface? And if you have, what was the process you went through to get AFR numbers running into the FCEdit software.

Your help is greatly appreciated in this issue

Thanks
David B.

There are three basic ways to connect any wideband to the DL.
(1) 5volt WB output to AN1 with AN1 being the only input.
(2) 5volt WB output to AN1 with and WB ground to a DL ground that you have to create.
(3) 5volt WB output to AN1 and WB ground to AN2 using the AN1-AN2 delta function.

Then you have to set up your DATALOGIT correctly to be able to READ and RECORD the WB. If your WB also has it's own readout, you should calibrate the DL to it, otherwise the DL can be off around .2 AFR.

I can step you through the DL setup, and tell you how to calibrate.
PM me if interested and willing to pay $30.
