hello,
i think there is different part such fuel system between usa FD AND EUROPEAN FD
so I would to know if APEXI power fc would work with european FD with no problem.
I'm really not a Dyno man and i 'm little afraid to make some mistake with this apexi ecu
there Is some differrence between US Power FC and Japanese Power Fc?
thanks FOR YOUR HELP

First and foremost.
Power FC needs to be tuned (that's the whole point of a stand alone ECU
). Therefore, Is there a tuner that you can go to in france? If there is you should be asking him.
Base maps on the PFC are leaner than the stock ECU IIRC. So if you plan to just run base maps @ 10 psi you are wasting your money.
Find out what ECU your local tuner is familiar with, and use that particular one. If there are no capable Rx-7 tuners then IMO you should be in the market for a pettit or M2 ECU and run your car at moderate boot levels.

On a jap car you dont need to cut the 4 wires, just plug it in and follow the rest of Dale Clarks FAQ
http://www.clubrx.org/media/pfc/PowerFC_FAQ.pdf
BUT DONT CUT THE WIRES ON A JAP CAR

I have the same problem/question as jef57
I have ordered a PFC.
The vendor says it is pregprogrammed with a several base map for Japanese domestic market vehicles and minor initial tuning/mapping is recommended for best results. (whatever it is - minor)
I heard there are differences in the octane level.
My car is a european 1992 FD – without any tuning!!
I want to use the PFC only for monitoring (Watertemp + Boost etc).
Can I use the new Apexi Power FC without any map-tuning?
Or if necessary, can I make modification diy?
I don’t want go to a professional although he is worth the money
but i would like avoid to drive 500 km.
Thanks
Thomas
