Power fc idle learn issue
Did some searching did find a nothing overly similar, tried some of their things nothing worked.
Basically the power fc doesn't seem to idle learn in any way. I set the throttle body screws to the recomended settings, Reset the power fc, and turn the key and it'll start up and idle around 300-600 with a ton of moving around.
Now from what I understand the pfc learning procedure is supposed to bring it up to 1500 and then stabilize down to the set rpm.
Things I've tried:
I adjusted the screws so it idled at 1000 cold and tried the reset and learn and same thing, it doesn't go up to 1500 and it basically acts no different from before the reset. I've done this with both the screws on the throttle body no difference between the two. This also led to an idle of 1400-1900 when it was warmed up. If I adjusted the screws to hold a warm idle then on cold starts it's back to low and barely running.
At a moderate setting where the warm idle was around 1400 or so it would hunt between 1100 and 1400
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Getting pretty tired of the cars bad habits

That'll be the source of considerable frustration. Without it, the PFC has almost nothing it can use to control the idle. You will likely need to get the AF/R on the idle cells to keep the AF/R steady both cold and warm, as that's about the only thing the PFC can do to adjust the idle.

Things that screw up the PFC controlling the idle:
(1) Removing the air pump without turning off the O2 Feed Back control switch.
(2) Removing the Idle Speed Control solenoid.
(3) Bad stock O2 sensor when the air pump is working and O2 FB is turned on.
(4) Setting idle speeds too high.
(5) This one tends to mess up most engines but some survive it. Have not determined what causes it. Removal of the Air Control Valve
as when installing an aftermarket fuel rail for larger injectors.
