Quick question, around how much does it cost to have a power fc and commander installed and tuned to your mods cost. I know it will be different for everyone but what would be an estimate for 4 mods..um intercooler downpipe intake catback?

 

half hour to install and the base map will be safe to run till fine tuning. That cost all depends on who and how many people do it with you.

Initial "tuning" is done thru the learning process. Which includes 10 minutes of idle with no loads on, 10 mins with a/c on, and 10 min with the rear defrost on.
Then drive Base map is already loaded on and readyu to go after learning.

 

Oh i see, well just with the base map how much do you think a local race shop would do it for.

 

i would not pay more than 60 bucks to have a PFC installed and "learned".( And i don't charge more than that to do it. It is simple. You cut 4 wires on the ECU engine harness and plug it in. BAM done! That's it. But do not pay more than 1 hour worth of labor or you are getting ripped off

 

oh o.k...I'll just search on how to do it myself. I thought it was some big hard deal...it has a pretty ncie price on it so i didn't want to screw it up. But thnx for the help man i appreciate it.

 

just make sure you have the negative battery cable DISCONNECTED! The PFC instructions can be downloaded off the Apexi usa website. The wires to clip can be found on here thru a search. Also PM me tomorrow if you haven't found them by then. I will go out and grab them for you off mine.
