Power FC and 3 bar map sensor
Does anyone out there have any experience going with an upgraded 3 bar MAP sensor using the PFC? I saw one thread where someone wanted to buy on (which is info I also need), but I'm also interested in how the computer needs to be reset. The other thread mentioned some things that I understand (going to option 5) and then some things I don't.
thx.

I'm running a 3bar on option 2, but I was told when i purchased it that it was pre-programmed for a gm 3bar.. call xs-engineering (714) 992 4133 and ask them, they're basicly the only power excel dealer in america thats trustworthy

3 bar arrived two days ago
I just got my Apexi 3 bar in two days ago. I have not yet installed it, but according to our Datalogit instructions Option 1 on the PIM scale offset is the one to use. We'll be getting verification from SR on that, then installing it and gently testing my current maps. Once all is ok then I'll turn up the wick to 20 lbs. I'll get a new dyno run in before that, since I"ve changed my timing a bunch and think I've picked up about 20 bhp. I'll have to rescale my 20x20s to handle the higher boost levels, and I also want to install a fuel pressure gauge to monitor fuel delivery. I'm running 80% injectors right now and am a bit concerned that I'll go over the 85% threshold, and I'm not sure my Nippo pump will handle the load.
I'll let everyone know how it goes over the next couple of months.
