power fc

to run the power fc with the datalogit what kind of laptop do you need? how many mhz do you need? Any info would be great.

I don't think you need a very powerful machin at all. I've read that some guys are using old P3 machines.

I don't have any hard data, but I doubt you'll have any trouble at all with a P2. The only real advantage you get with a faster machine is more samples per second in your logs, unless you're doing a bunch of crazy monitoring. With my P4 1.6 I get about 20 samples per second.

I used a laptop with a 200MHz processor for a while and was pulling about 10 samples a second. With a 450Mhz I am getting about 18 samples a second. With my 1.5 gig I pull less because I have to use a usb to serial converter.

I've used a P166 before, with win98 lite. It was slow but it worked. You can trim down what you actually log to increase the frequency if its really slow.
