The Base Mod map at http://opus.bloomcounty.org/~patrick/pfc/ is correct, it is the default map that ships with a PFC.

I still think your problems are either non-PFC related or are due to the fact that you are running that AP-modified PFC.

THANKS RYNBERG well i was told that the only thing changed on the AP PFC was the fuel to ingnition cut, instead of fuel cut, it cuts out ignition. On the PFC preview it said not to have any neg - in the ign split and there are all kinds of neg - in there so am i wrong? Ill try it again, but the funny thing is, when i reset the PFC, its fine but when i add the BASE MOD MAP all i get is the pop po poop

Make sure the base mod map is set to use normal under PIM offset, not option 1, 2, 3, etc.

Negative split in vacuum shouldn't cause any problems. Some RX-7 guys deliberately run negative split in vacuum and rumor is the RX-8 runs negative split at idle. Supposedly it allows a leaner AFR. The couple of instances in the base mod map can easily be zeroed out if it still bothers you.
