PIM Voltage Offset

I have an AVCR and PFC running in my car. After the last time of having the car down for a clutch change I noticed my pressures between the AVCR and PFC are about 40mm hg~ .7 PSI off when car off, same at idle and under boost from what I can tell. I also noticed that I am not cruising in the same cells as before. Which percentages should I adjust the rpm or PIM voltage. Do I adjust both. It seems to be a differential across the whole range. How do I adjust the offset? change both percentages the same amount. Does this require datalogit to change correctly? Thanks for any help.

Ryan

PS I have checked the connector and vacuum lines. I don't have an extra sensor to check it out with though.

you can use the commander I think. in PIM,NORMAL,offset should be 39xx or something like that. every car will be different as far as change in offset needed. mine was at -.43 mmhg and 3300 woked for me. I would try 3400 for yours and go from there until it reads 0. I used the datalogit...but if I remember correctly you can change it with the commander.

I have the 5 different setting but I can't seem to find anything like the offset and scale you showed. I can't find it in the manual either of course I may not be using the commander correctly.

hit next while NORMAL is highlighted...then you should get to the offset display.

thats a screen shot of the datalogit screen setting 3. I may be wrong about being able to use the commander. I think you can go into PIM setting...NORMAL...then find the 39xx under offset and change it until you see 0 for the map sensor. I changed mine from the datalogit. I dont have my car handy at the moment so I cant confirm being able to use the commander. You can definately do it with the datalogit.

I was just outside with the car again and still was unable too get the offset to come up. Can anyone confirm that you can change the offset and scale on the pressure sensor without datalogit.

Thanks

The only thing NEXT gets me are the two tables (RPM and PIM Voltage).
You need the DATALOGIT to change the scale and offset.

Just another reason for me to get a datalogit.

it may be a little harder yet to get one presently, as it sounds like a update to the box is happening, and when this is complete they should be much easier “relatively” to get your hands on as they plan to let storefronts carry them in stock instead of on demand.

Now you just have to worry about getting through the gauntlet of being asked to join the group.
