Pfc base map +stock fd
Well,i have a simple question for you guys:I want to know if the base map of the pfc will be ok for a bone stock fd(well except for a downpipe and an efini y-pipe but i have the profec for these),or i will have to tyne it on a dyno?I am very satisfied with the stock boost, and tyning is a no-no to me(i just cannot afford a new engine, caused from a mistake during tuning, and "mistakes" can happen easily).Basically,i want to monitor my inj duty cycle, adjust the fans, and maybe have a better working fd???(idle, backfires etc).Any suggestions are welcomed...

fan turn on temp cannot be adjusted without the use of datalogic if i recall. You can see what it is set at on the commander but i am pretty sure that it needs DL to change.
The base map will be fine for what you are sporting so far.

The pfc works great on stock or lightly modded fds. It might be a little rich, but thats ok.
We have installed many of them, just follow the instructions for cutting the 4 wires,
and adjust the air screw after you start it to get the idle to quit hunting.Apexi programed it
to have factory boost and 12 psi set on the commander. Ralph, It works well
