Power FC Need Help

Need Help
Ive had my rx for about 2 weeks or so and im having ignition timing problems. I dont really know anything about the PFC. Im very new to tuning and such. I have searched about IGL and IGt but the posts are more indepth than I understand. at idle my igl is 4 and igt is -6. From what ive read in posts this sounds very bad. I also get alot of knock. Just recently my igl and igt have both been negative at idle and the split is sometimes more than 10 degrees. When im at greater than idle the split is usually no more than 2 degrees and most of the time it is even. I read the commander manual and understand the basics of how things work but I am very uncomfortable adjusting anything myself due to my lack of knowledge. I havent been driving the car very much lately until I figure out my issues and solve them. The car was shipped from miami to hawaii and the previous owner said he had it tuned on a dyno with a wideband.

Read the tuning sticky above. There are other RX-7 owners with PFC in your area.
Try contacting them.
Your idle is normal.
Knock is only bad under boost. You can have fake knock caused by transmission noise.
Get a laptop, DATALOGIT, and wideband if you can not find any locals with them.

Also lately i have been getting knock under boost. As the RPM increases the knock level goes up. Sometimes at idle my IGL and IGT is -5 and -20. I just recently changed my plugs and it didnt improve. My knock is actually worse. Any suggestions.

Thanks Chuck. I will definetly do that once I get a datalogit. But about my timing. When the car is fully warm (80+C) my idle isaround -5 leading and -20 trailing. Is this normal? I have read the tuning sticky and it was very helpful. It adds alot more knowledge upon what ive learned from the manual. My mods are stated above. I had the SMIC and the intake removed and once the engine was warm I revved it under no boost and at 6000rpm my knock level was about 45. From what ive read in the manual this isnt very good either. I apologize if im being annoying but I would really like to figure this out.
