Mid-Tune AFRs and relaying an inq.
So I'm sitting in mid-tune and getting some wompy AFRs and was talking to someone lastnight about it.
They posted an interesting question, that I couldn't really explain, and - since it was relevant to my plight, I though I'd ask!
What's the SAFEST, in-town, mild throttle and cruise AFRs that I can get away with on the lean end?
I think the range is from 15.5 to a random trench of 17.2. While both are TECHNICALLY still in the yellow, I figure I'd ask to be safe.
This is NOT under any boost, what-so-ever (8# vac) nor under any load. Consistent speeds of 40-50 and holding.
I've been rolling it to JUST into boost then weening off, a tad to that the AFRs sit to about 12 - 12.5, but that crap's getting old.
Verdict?![scratch](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/scratchhead.gif)
If need be, I can post both maps (the current and the one that I'm going TO) for analysis.
